Help Elias's Family Recover from Divorce Hardship

This divorce has exhausted our family financially to a point I haven’t seen since bankruptcy. For seven months, I’ve been paying two sets of regular bills plus two sets of legal bills. I’ve maxed out 401k loans, she’s maxed out credit cards, and I’ve borrowed substantially from family. Plus I was out of work for over two months during summer, my biggest money making season. I had to modify my mortgage. As part of our settlement, I’ve absorbed all marital debt and given her all marital assets aside from my house. I want her to get a fresh start and land on her feet so she can take good care of Elias on the days she has him. We’ve had utilities shut off at points and almost went into foreclosure during all of this because of the financial strain. I’m going to be coming back to my house with all the regular bills, the mortgage, plus legal fees and now I’ll be paying child support. I’ll probably have to get some roommates. But in the meantime, I’m looking at about a $50,000 toll that’ll make landing on our feet very difficult. I intend to work my ass off, pinch pennies, and do some side hustling because I believe in paying my own way. But I’m setting the fundraising goal at half of that because I’m not Superman.
