Help Elena Heap serve in Uganda!

Hey everyone! I am so excited to announce that God has recently opened a door for me to go do something He’s been leading me to for a while now.

Through missions at FBC, I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to serve in Uganda!

My team and I will get the opportunity to help children who are very malnourished and in need of medical care, help those living in poverty, as well as spread the gospel to those who may not know Jesus as their Savior.

We will spend 10 days serving in Uganda. While there, we will spend our days in orphanages, as well as in a medical village and in malnutrition clinics. We will be working directly with African Hearts Uganda, Hope Shine Uganda, and Passion Christian High School to bring ministry and gospel and spread the word of Christ.

I have such a heart for children and serving others, and I can’t help but feel that God opened this door for me at the right time. I love using my gifts to serve others and grow in my faith. Although I stay busy with school, my focus remains on God and growing as a faithful servant to Jesus. This mission trip is an opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone and share His love through service, worship, and community outreach. I truly believe that God has a purpose for me on this trip, and I cannot wait to see how He works in me and through me.
