For the past three years, I have dedicated myself to supporting elderly and disabled people in the Minnesota Twin Cities, helping them remain safely housed in the communities they love. Recently, the end of housing stabilization programs has left hundreds of vulnerable individuals without the assistance or advocacy they need. Many of the services provided through waivers from DHS have been put on hold due to ongoing fraud, leaving people at risk of eviction, displacement, or even institutionalization.

I have seen firsthand how devastating it can be when someone loses their home or is forced into a situation that doesn’t meet their needs. That’s why I am committed to filling the gap and continuing the fight against homelessness in our community. The funds raised will go directly toward rent assistance to prevent eviction, security deposits for accessible housing, utility assistance, minor home safety modifications like grab bars and ramps, and transportation to help people maintain stable housing.
