Help Elaine & James Melvin Rebuild After House Fire

Update

Elaine and James have officially been told their house and his Lexus are totally destroyed. They right now plan on rebuilding, but that will take some time. James is hoping his old truck will run, since his car crispy and well done!

It will temporary housing for probably the next 2 years.

Thank you all for your generosity. These dollars are going to be put aside for the furniture that they will need for their new home.

Our sweet caring giving Elaine and James Melvin lost ALL of their possessions while attending a family function out of town over the weekend on August 3. Apparently lightning struck their house, overnight. When the Neighbors discovered it, it was engulfed in flames.

They drove back home in the wee hours of the night. The picture you see is all that is left except the things they took with them on the trip. James's car is in the garage, but it is destroyed.

Many of you have asked how you can help. Pray for them first of all. They are devastated, but realize it's just "stuff".

This is just a bump on there journey, but all is in God's hand.
