My husband Edwin is a Peruvian citizen who came to the United States on an F-1 visa in 2019. Last year, his visa was cancelled because he couldn't pay his tuition in September. Before the cancellation, we got married on July 19th and sent in a green card application to USCIS. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, we had to do the application ourselves, and our first case was declined in February because we didn't know we had to pay for the petitioner's part of the process. We resubmitted our application the right way, and it's currently ongoing.
The terrible news is that we received a notice to appear in court for Edwin on July 28th. We genuinely don't know what to do, and I really need him here. We are scared and overwhelmed, and we need help to hire a lawyer who can guide us through this process and give us a chance to keep our family together.
If anyone can help us, please let us know. Your support means everything to us right now, and we are grateful for any assistance you can provide to help Edwin stay with his family.
