My name is Edward Conway, I am 39 years old, and I was born with two valves in my heart. Recently, I underwent open heart surgery to replace a valve, and now I live with a metal valve in my chest. The recovery process has been difficult, and it has changed my life in many ways. My fiancé and I are currently living in a shelter, doing our best to stay strong and support each other through these challenges.

Despite everything, we are proud to share that we have been clean for a month and ten days. This is a huge milestone for us, and we are determined to keep moving forward. However, the medical bills and the struggle to find stable housing have made things even harder. We are reaching out for help so we can pay for my medical expenses, find a safe place to live, and hopefully get a car to help us find work and regain our independence.
