My son Conor is travelling to Zambia for voluntary work this May and will be helping construct a schoolhouse for local children. His efforts will provide great support for the community, providing much needed education opportunities. He will work alongside locals gaining invaluable experience while making a meaningful impact on young lives.

To help raise awareness and funds, I am taking part in a skydive alongside my wife and eldest son on the 17th May.

Conor will tell you a little on what they will do when over there;

Hi, my name is Conor Sutton and I am a Transition Year student in St. Benildus College. This year myself and 20 of my classmates have been selected to travel over to Nsobe, Zambia for 2 weeks from the 24th May to the 8th June to represent the college.

Whilst in Zambia I will be building a primary school for the local children who are deprived of education due to lack of facilities and opportunities. In my time over here, I will be educating the children in English and playing football and dancing with them to keep them motivated and healthy. Last year Nsobe had a school built by the previous transition year students of St. Benildus College. There is still not enough places for all the local children to receive an education.

These donations will allow me to travel over to Zambia and stay in the local area for the two week duration. My ability to go over will aid in the construction of the school and give the young children a chance at a full education.
