With your help we are hoping to help Edmond to grow and professionalise his nursery to secure his livelihood and provide a much-needed service to the community.

Meet Edmond. Every day, you can find Edmond sitting at the corner of Pringle Rd and Eastern Rd, selling beautiful shrubs, bulbs, pots and flowers. Edmond inherited this small nursery business from his grandfather, who had occupied the same space under a tree selling his propagated plants as far back as 1991. Edmond took over the business in 2017 and introduced flower pots as well as a wider variety of plants for resale to the surrounding community and any passers-by. Edmond puts in the long hard hours to make his business idea a reality but despite this has faced challenges with water supply and consistent income to grow his business. Neighbours have committed to providing him with regular water but he has little access to capital. This is where you come in.
