About 2.5 years ago, Eden and her mom, Quinn, moved from Ventura County, California, to Chandler, Arizona, seeking a fresh start. Since their arrival, they have faced numerous challenges, including sudden roommate departures, irreparable car breakdowns, and the difficulty of finding work that accommodates school schedules. Quinn has worked as a customer service representative for Safeway and as a server at a local favorite restaurant. To make ends meet, she also does Instacart and DoorDash deliveries.

Quinn recently put herself through cosmetology school and graduated in August, but has struggled to find employment due to their frequent moves and her need to be available for Eden. Recently, after moving from place to place in search of affordable housing, Eden and her mom found themselves renting a room. Just two weeks into their stay, they received an eviction notice—not because of anything they did, but because the main tenant is being evicted. This sudden news has left them with dwindling options and very little time to find a new place.

As their church family, we want to walk beside them and help them secure a safe, stable apartment where they can begin to rebuild and find peace.

We are raising funds to help cover a security deposit and first and last month’s rent for Eden and her mom, so they can secure their own apartment or condo for at least a year.
