Help Ebrima Bah Replace His Stolen Motorcycle

Donation protected

This is my friend, Ebrima Bah. He's from the Gambia in West Africa. I've known him for five years when he attended one of my Steward Leader seminars there in Gambia back in February of 2020. I was immediately impressed with his commitment to applying the leadership principles from our training to his own life and ministry.

Even more, I was impressed with his amazing story of personal endurance and success in overcoming the devastation of being crippled by polio as an infant. At the time, Ebrima's parents thought the best solution was to take him to a witch doctor whose fetishes and other efforts did nothing to halt the polio disease. By the time his family finally relented and took their young son to a medical facility in the capital, it was too late and Ebrima's right leg was already permanently bent and disfigured.

Undaunted, Ebrima has not let his handicap slow him down. He has completed his schooling, is married and the father of two daughters, serves as an elder and evangelist with the House of Wisdom church fellowship, and makes a successful living riding his motorcycle to remote villages marketing cell phones, SIM cards, and other communication services.

Ebrima's personal story is so impactful, that he was recently invited to travel to East Africa to be one of the main speakers at a pastor's conference. He shared that the experience has also inspired him to expand his own personal ministry of encouraging other young leaders around him and now hopes to make a trip soon to neighboring Guinea-Bissau to do just that.

BUT. . . all that is now on hold due to his motorcycle having been stolen cutting him off from his sole means of personal support. Ebrima normally parks his motorbike inside the locked compound of his church--The House of Wisdom. On the night of January 10, someone broke through the locked gates of the compound and ran off with his bike.

Devastated, he has asked me to host this GoFundMe campaign to raise enough funds to replace his motorbike. He tells me that $1,600 is an adequate amount to purchase a new bike locally there in Gambia plus cover any fees involved in fundraising and wiring him the funds. I have sent Ebrima funds in the past for school fees, etc., so I am confident about being able to safely get him the money he needs once it is raised through this GoFundMe project.

Thanks for taking an interest in Ebrima and considering being a part of caring individuals who would like to help him recover from his loss and once again provide for his family and future ministry.

May God bless your generosity.
