As-salāmu ʿalaykum,
My name is Ebrima, and I am a 17 year old from Gambia. I live with my three siblings and our grandmother. We lost both of our parents in a car accident, and since then, life has been a daily struggle.
We are not asking for charity to live without effort. What we are asking for is a chance to work.
Our goal is to raise £350 to buy a donkey and cart, which would allow us to start a small transport and delivery business in our community. This would give us a stable source of income for food, basic needs, and school support, instead of relying on help from others just to survive.
So far, donations have helped us cover essential food and daily necessities, and we are deeply grateful. However, without reaching our goal, our situation remains unstable.
This donkey and cart would change everything:
It allows me to work daily
It helps support my siblings and grandmother
It gives our family dignity and independence
Any contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to standing on our own feet. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you are able to give.
May Allah reward you for your kindness.
