Family in Need of Support, Prayers, and Hope
On December 8th, my brother-in-law began showing signs of confusion and disorientation. The following day, his wife rushed him to our local emergency room. On December 10th, their world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with a large brain tumor.
He was immediately transferred to a larger hospital, where he underwent surgery. Sadly, complications during surgery caused several mini-strokes, resulting in the loss of most of his eyesight and weakness on his left side. After spending several days in the ICU, we received the devastating diagnosis: stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer.
He now has chemotherapy and radiation scheduled daily, and his care requires constant attention. Because of this, his wife is currently unable to work. They are still fighting for insurance coverage, but in the meantime, they are struggling with medical-related transportation costs and everyday living expenses.
Watching the person you love battle cancer is a pain I cannot fully put into words. Like so many others, we are facing this fight one day at a time. Any donation—no matter how small—will help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult season. If you’re unable to give, we ask for your prayers and for sharing our story.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, support, and love.
