Our hearts are breaking as we share that my brother, Carson, is in the ICU and not expected to recover. The doctors have told us he only has days left. We’re still trying to wrap our minds around it — how quickly everything changed — and how to face a world without him in it.
Carson was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma in November 2024. From the beginning, he stayed strong and hopeful, believing he could beat this. After months of treatment, he went into remission, and for a short time, we all felt like we had our Carson back.
But just a few months later, our worst fears came true when the cancer returned. He began another round of treatment, but before it could be completed, Carson suddenly passed out and was rushed to the ER. Since October 30th, he has been in the ICU, mostly living off life support.
We’ve spent these past days holding his hand, talking to him, praying for him, and telling him how deeply he’s loved. There’s no way to prepare for losing someone like Carson — someone whose heart was bigger than anything, who made everyone laugh, and who loved his family more than anything.
This GoFundMe is being made to help my parents, Diana and Brent, as they prepare for funeral services and everything that comes with saying goodbye far too soon. We hope to ease even a small part of the burden while allowing them to focus on love, memory, and grief rather than logistics. If you prefer Venmo, please send to Carson’s mother, @Diana-Cunningham-1.
If you’re able to give, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If not, please just keep Carson and our family in your thoughts and prayers — that means more than anything.
Thank you for loving him with us.
