Help Ease Our Burden from Pots and PNES

My story started when I was 13 years old. I started passing out and losing consciousness. I would just be walking down the hall at school, and I was suddenly waking up on the ground with people around me. It was scary. My parents immediately started taking me to the doctors to find out what was happening. I was diagnosed with anemia, so we started to address that until my symptoms got worse. About a year later, I started having more severe episodes, so we went back to the doctor, where I was diagnosed with POTS. This started the cycle of doctor's visits, misdiagnosis, and more doctor's visits. Most recently, I’ve been diagnosed with PNES on top of the POTS. PNES is non-epileptic; this means there is no treatment for it. Essentially, I am having multiple seizures a day with no help from medication. This journey has strained my family, and the medical bills just keep piling up. The mental health of my family and myself is wearing thin.

This is why I started the GoFundMe, to help my family recover some of the financial burden and move us towards being able to get out from under the mountain of medical debt.
