Help Ease Larry's Last Journey

Larry Vasquez, a vibrant soul at 61, is facing the most challenging battle of his life. Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer just last December 2023, he has courageously fought, enduring a significant and rapid decline in health, resulting in a loss of approximately 75 pounds. Currently at the hospital, he has been given the heartbreaking news that there are no further treatment options available. His last wish is a selfless one – to spare his children the burden of his funeral expenses.
Just seven months ago, Larry was a picture of health, a talented painter, photographer, and a soul brimming with love for music and faith. Not only did he care for his beloved mother for 11 years, but he also shared a deep bond with her. However, his illness forced them to be separated, with his 98-year-old mother, battling dementia, needing care in a nursing home. They dearly miss each other, separated in their time of need.
Larry's dedication extended to his church, Tripoint Baptist Church, where for the last 10 years, he worked tirelessly for the congregation, eventually becoming a cherished part of the church family. Despite the immeasurable support from friends and family, the financial strain over the last seven months has left a gap in providing for his funeral services. Every act of kindness and support in caring for his mother and himself has been deeply appreciated and will forever be held in his heart and soul. Although he applied for disability, it came too late to allow him to save for his own services, and this is now his biggest wish. Would you please help make Larry’s wish come to fruition?”
