Update May 2025

Gabriel left on Tuesday the 27 to go stay for treatment at the Oasis of Health medical center in Mexico. It is an alternative treatment center. Asking for your thoughts and prayers for his journey. We have done what we can with Western Medicine and put our hope in different treatment now.

-Gabriel has decided to receive alternative treatment at Windhorse Naturopathic in Brattleboro, Vermont, not the previously planned Center in Mexico. He feels this is the best path for him—one that allows him to stay close to his family, continue working, and still receive conventional treatment at Mass General in Boston. We believe in standing by his choices, supporting him fully, and providing him with every possible opportunity for healing.

Gabriel is young. He is strong. He has fought bravely through every round of chemotherapy, radiation, and FDA-approved treatment available. While his prognosis remains challenging, he has decided to continue with Western medical treatments alongside alternative therapies in the hope of extending his time and improving his quality of life. Doctors have told him that his time is short. But we refuse to accept that without trying everything possible.

After meeting with multiple specialists, Gabriel has chosen a combination of conventional Western treatment and alternative therapies that align with what he would have received abroad, allowing him to receive the best of both worlds while remaining near his family and continuing to work.

Gabriel’s Treatment Plan

• Western Medicine: Gabriel is undergoing high-dose chemotherapy to slow tumor growth while working toward qualifying for a clinical study at Mass General in Boston, one of the world’s leading cancer research hospitals. He has confidence in his doctors, which is crucial when facing a terminal illness.

• Alternative Therapy (Windhorse Naturopathic, Brattleboro, VT): To support his immune system and overall well-being, Gabriel will receive weekly IV Vitamin C and Mistletoe therapy, widely used in Europe for cancer treatment.

IV Vitamin C and Mistletoe therapy have been extensively studied for their potential benefits in supporting cancer treatment, enhancing immune function, and improving overall well-being. These therapies offer Gabriel the opportunity to receive alternative treatment while remaining at home, surrounded by loved ones. They are well-researched, widely used in Europe, and much more affordable than out-of-country options. 

What We Need & How You Can Help

Because Gabriel is pursuing both Western and alternative treatments, we now need to raise $10,000 to support his alternative care, which will work alongside his medical treatments. This is less than the original goal, which is good news.

We know times are tough for everybody financially or for most people financially so whatever you can give is acceptable or appreciated whether it’s five dollars or more.
