My name is Earl Dax, and I am a volunteer with the 2020 Bernie Sanders campaign. So far this year I have volunteered in New Hampshire, South Carolina and most recently Iowa where I served as a Caucus Whip for Bernie in Precinct 19 in Iowa City.
Since joining the campaign I've knocked on hundreds of doors; talked to dozens of voters; and multiplied my impact by driving several volunteers from University of Chicago for Bernie to Iowa. The videos from my Bernie Journies on YouTube and Instagram have been viewed over 3,000 times, and my Facebook posts and live streams have received hundreds of likes. Both on the ground and over social media I'm working to spread The Gospel of Bernie! :o)

To continue this work, I am raising funds to volunteer with the Sanders campaign for at least an additional month. I've been invited to work out of a field office in Las Vegas through the Nevada caucuses on February 22. From there I'll drive to California and volunteer wherever the need is greatest through that state's primary on March 3, Super Tuesday.
Up until now I've happily covered all of the expenses associated with my volunteer activities out of my own pocket, but to continue giving of my time, skills and energy I'm asking asking for your support. Funds will be used for transportation costs, occasional lodging (when volunteer hosts are not available), food and to provide a buffer for emergencies. Anyone who contributes $18 or more (the average contribution to the Sanders campaign) will receive a postcard from me on the campaign trail! (Just make sure I have your mailing address.) With 100 contributions of $18 I'll meet my goal! (That's less than 1% of the 7,000+ friends and followers I have on social media.)

NOT ME, US. It's more than a campaign slogan. I have seen and been part of the political revolution that is taking place. Whether or not Bernie wins the Democratic nomination, the progressive movement in this country is growing and becoming stronger through his campaign. Coalitions and alliances are being built; leaders and organizers are honing and developing their skills; and over a million volunteers like me are getting directly involved in the political process, strengthening our democracy at a time when it is being tested like never before!
If you're unable to travel to an early primary state, join me on my #BernieJourney with a contribution. No amount is too small, and every contribution is appreciated. I'll post updates from the campaign trail here and continue to do so through my social media channels as well.

Together we can can do this!
In solidarity.
