7 years ago there was a viral video on Facebook about a group on Facebook called “I Run For”. This group aimed to pair runners with children who can’t run- due to mental or physical disabilities. This is how I met E and his mother.

E is a 13 yo non-verbal autistic little boy who’s being raised by his single mother, Carrie. Carrie stays home with E because he requires round the clock care. Hurricane Helene has wreaked havoc on the Carolinas. E and Carrie have been without power for a week. They’ve lost all their food and have a tree in their trailer home. Due to the age of their home they do not have home insurance. They’re blocked in their home by over 15 trees.

I'm raising money to get food in their fridge, remove the tree of their home, and hopefully repair their roof. Thank you for your support.
