Help! The beat must go on!
Drumming for Wellbeing, our wonderful drumming circle based in Lancashire, UK, has helped each of our members to come through all manner of life difficulties, from personal circumstances to Lockdown to health crises. It has the potential to help many more in our community.
BUT our funding options have come to a halt. We know there are others who would benefit from being part of this amazing group and we fear losing a precious resource that has supported and given joy to so many. Can you help us to keep going?
For a decade our drumming group has improved members well-being by :
- creating a caring friendly community which is available to all always open to new members
- widening the social circle of members
- having fun playing music
- developing our creativity
- improving rhythmical skills
- boosting social confidence
- reducing stress and isolation
- improving mental health
- developing a supportive environment
- building community
...and more!
We are now in financial difficulties threatening our future. Over the years we have found access to different sources of funding, applying repeatedly for different grants at each turn of the season or year. These resources have now become scarce or unavailable and this is why your help is crucial at this point.
Here is our story
Your donations, however small, will allow us, for at least another year, to:
• Pay for the lovely venue that has become our drumming circle home and for a skilled drum circle facilitator;
• Provide and maintain our set of drums and percussion for everyone to use;
• Expand Our Reach. We want to continue to bring drum circles to our communities, beyond socio-economical, age and diverse abilities barriers.
Please give as little or as much as you can. Help us to keep this unique drumming circle, which has become a vital part of the wellbeing of our community for a whole 10 years.
THANK YOU!
