Help DRIVE Us To Success: Expanding Eric’s Rideshare
Because This Was Built With $20 and a Bicycle—And We’re Not Done Yet.
⸻
THE BACKSTORY
When we started this business, I didn’t even have a car. My wife and I borrowed $20 from a friend and bought peanut butter, jelly, ramen, and bread. I rode a bicycle six miles each way to work at a Macy’s warehouse—every single day—for seven months. No shortcuts. No handouts.
That $20 and that bike became the foundation of what we now call Eric’s Rideshare—a trusted transportation service in Martinsburg, WV that’s been serving the community for nearly six years.
We’ve come a long way. But the road ahead is even bigger.
⸻
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re not raising money just because we want to grow.
We’re doing it because we have to.
Demand has exploded. We’re getting calls every week we can’t answer—because we don’t have enough vehicles to cover it all. Weddings. Airport runs. Medical appointments. Out-of-town veterans. Elderly folks. Last-minute emergencies.
If we don’t expand, we will have to start turning people away.
That’s not the business we built—and it’s not the community we serve.
⸻
THE ASK
If I’ve ever picked you up at 4 AM…
If I’ve ever helped your mom to a medical appointment…
If I’ve ever carried your bags, waited patiently, or found a way to make it work when no one else would—
This is your moment to ride for me.
We’re asking for $5,000 to help secure a new vehicle and keep our expansion going strong. That amount will be combined with a bank loan, so we’re not asking for a handout—we’re building a bridge.
If just 100 people gave $50, this campaign would be finished TODAY.
⸻
THE IMPACT
This expansion means:
✅ More availability for locals
✅ More flexibility for airport & cruise passengers
✅ New jobs for local drivers
✅ Greater convenience for our entire community
But without it, the business hits a ceiling. I’ve sacrificed too much to let that happen—and we’ve come too far to stop now.
⸻
THE PROMISE
We’re not offering prizes or shoutouts or freebies.
That’s not how we operate.
Whether you donate or not, you’ll always get the same level of service. But if this business has ever helped you, or if you believe in what it stands for—now’s the time to back it.
⸻
THE LINK BETWEEN US ALL
This isn’t just about me getting another vehicle.
It’s about what we’ve built together. And what we’re still building.
For our kids. For our community. For the next person who needs a ride when no one else will show up.
