lam an obstetrician and gynaecologist, my husband is civil engineer

we have two sons and one doughter , I had completed my training period and was going to obtain a specialty certificate, but the events of October 7 destroyed my beautiful house, my car, and my clinic, and took away everything that I and my husband owned. We were forced to move under the bombing to Al-Shifa Hospital. My husband, my family, and I were displaced in the hospital, and I was providing service and helping pregnant and non-pregnant women who were injured in the war, despite the bombing. The violence around us, and then the Israeli army entered Al-Shifa and forced us to move to the south. I started working in the Emirati Hospital in Rafah and providing assistance to pregnant women. We were giving birth to more than 500 pregnant women a day and performing more than 30 caesarean sections, but the war has now lasted 7 months, and I have lost all my life and dreams in the blink of an eye now. I must rebuild my life and my dreams again outside Gaza. I no longer own anything in Gaza, and I fear for my children that anything bad will happen to them.

I will start my life and my family’s life again. It is a very difficult choice, but it is difficult for us. We stand idly by, and our future and our lives are wasted.
