My name is Sarah Inczauskis and I am helping raise money for my father, Doug Inczauskis, who just lost mostly everything in a house fire. This home was built by his grandfather, my great-grandfather, Joe Beyreis. Joe lived there with my great-grandmother, Florence. My dad bought this home from them when I was in middle school and has lived there ever since. There are a lifetime of memories there, which makes this all the more sad.
The fire broke out at around 5:30 am, and flames were shooting out of the windows. Luckily, my dad and his girlfriend were able to get out, and nobody was hurt. The hardest piece to lose is always the sentimental items that can never be replaced.
Situations like this are so devastating but also demonstrate the strength and support in small communities. My father has lived in the small community of Exeland, Wisconsin for the majority of his life. We are so grateful for everyone who has already reached out, offered shelter, and shown support.
This GoFundMe page is being set up to help with immediate and long-term costs as many have reached out asking how they can help. I am doing this for my father because as many of you know, he would never dream of asking anyone for help. He has always been one of the hardest working men that I have ever known in my life but is now retired due to his physically demanding jobs that wore his body down. He is no longer able to work without being in pain from the hard, physical labor he did his entire life. (And long lasting effects on his body from a serious car accident in 1997). He has minimum income coming in and on a very limited budget which is why he needs help.
Luckily, he does have insurance but we all know they will try to pay the bare minimum and the funds will also be used for keeping him afloat in the meantime.
