Help Doug get back to his island life

Hey everyone! My name is Aubrey and I'm starting this fundraiser for my soon to be father in law Douglas Lukowski. Doug has struggled with ulcerative colitis for about 5 years. Recently he had a very bad flare up that led to multiple hospital visits that led to an emergency surgery and a very long hospital stay since June 9th. This surgery came with some complications and we are hopeful he will be on to a rehab center soon, then once home, he will still need the care of his wife Trish for a little longer until he adapts back to life. With all of these things happening, my soon to be mother in law (Trish) has had to take time off work to spend time with him and make sure he is getting the proper care he needs. They are without insurance so I'm starting this gofundme to hopefully help them with the cost of bills and living to make things a little easier for them at this time.
