Help double leg amputee Gary get CHAIR for stairs

I am asking for assistance for my spouse, Gary Kincade, who is a recent double leg amputee. He is being released from the Rehab Hospital on Feb 5/21. He is also a Dialysis Patient 4 days a week - we would be using this chair to get him in and out of our home to get to these appointments at the hospital. Our only hope in getting him up and down the 7 stairs at home is with this Evac-Chair Model 8OO. I wanted to buy the 200 model which is much more affordable - I was advised it would be impossible for me to get him up and down the stairs by myself (my plan was to buy movers straps which help/assist with lifting heavy weight/appliances, etc...) The 800 Model has a stair climbing track which gets the patient up and down the stairs very easily.

We have bought a wheelchair that fits perfectly through our doorways (and a ROHO cushion which prevents pressure sores). I have purchased a bariatric commode, transfer bench for the bathtub, grab bars, raised toilet, Rollator walker (hopefully he will receive a second Prosthetic leg in the future - presently using the walker for him to practice standing up on the prosthetic leg for muscle strengthening).

The Amputee Clinic at the Rehab Hospital will not allow us to get a second prosthetic leg (received first leg 1.5 years ago) as we have stairs and they are afraid he will fall down the stairs. The fact that we have managed the stair challenge will hopefully convince Gary's TEAM at the Clinic that we are able to mobilize the stairs safely - possibly they will allow us to receive a second leg.

In closing, I would like to say that Gary has done so well over the last 3 years, through all the adversities sent our way. I am so THRILLED he will be coming home on Feb 5th!!
