Great guy, family man, spiritual, veteran, double amputee, wake and adaptive sporting enthusiast!

During a move between states, Doug’s custom wakeboard was stolen. This custom board had been sized and specialized material used in order to best adapt its use to him as a double amputee.

After reaching out to the company that originally donated the board to him, I am hoping to raise $800 to replace the board and its modifications.

I’ve seen this man organize, lead, and participate in things from community cleanups in a wheelchair to introducing and guiding fellow veterans to their form of healing through water sports and the camaraderie it brings them.

Lastly, in true fellow veteran fashion, a nice joke that’s likely best unsaid. Please, help get this man back on his feet… Even if those feet happen to be nubs and hanging off a wakeboard as fish bait like a crazy man.
