Help Donna Barrett's Family

Donna Barrett was a beautiful light; everyone who knew her – loved her.

Full of spirituality, compassion, love and fire for all she held dear, Donna was a special part of all our lives…especially her family’s. Our hearts go out to husband Bob and her beautiful kids Grace and Robbie.

Now, it’s time to come together in community to take care of her kids – our kids – so they can finish school and have what they need as they make their way forward without their Mom.

In 2018, Donna was diagnosed with colon cancer which metastasized to her brain. She fought 3 hard years of surgeries and chemo, remissions and relapses, some ups, and many downs. She battled with grace, dignity, and faith; her struggle ended in late December 2021. Over the years, we all rallied to help with meals, donations, driving and errands…which Donna appreciated but with reluctance – because she was the giver who was used to supporting all of us and she never wanted to take advantage of anyone. Donna was compassionate, proud, and independent.

Like their mom, the kids would never ask anything from any of us. But Donna would want the kids to be kids….to be able to focus on studies, church, enjoy school trips and events with friends, and have what they need without worry. It is in that spirit that we created this Go Fund Me.

Grace is a junior in college at Palm Beach Atlantic University and Robbie is a junior in high school at Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Funds will be directed toward essentials for the kids including food, clothing, supplies, field trips and events.

Please consider giving what you are comfortable with to help with care for the kids, as Donna would have done for each of us.
