On Tues 11/23, someone shot an automatic rifle during a dispute on the street where Callie's car was parked. 18 bullets hit one person and three cars, including Callie's! The bullet went through the hood and into the back of the dashboard - it destroyed the internal computer. The car is totaled. Here's an article on the shooting.

If you know Callie, you know she's dedicated her life to record stores, radio, and her music community for over 20 years. In 2017 she opened Moon Rock Records with Alex Yusimov in Eugene, which has become an important landmark for the music fans in Oregon and beyond. She's touched countless lives with her love of sharing music with the world.

Callie had a major surgery this past summer and even more recently 4,000 dollars worth of out of pocket dental work, so the timing of this incident couldn't be worse. She needs a car to get to appointments and do her job. Insurance is coving the bare minimum of 2.5k, which isn't much at all for a functional car. You may guess there's not really great coverage from getting your car shot to death.
