Help Donate Coloring Books to Hospitals
Donation protected
Hello,
Our family has been on an unbelievable journey we never asked to travel nor would wish anyone else to. We are thankful for our community that walked along us all the way. Today, on what would be Cayden's birthday, we are inviting you all to walk alongside us on a path of healing and purpose.
After we lost Cayden to an aggressive form of cancer (MRT) at 20 months old, an idea came to me that would honor his memory, journey and help other children facing childhood cancer. This 20 page coloring book addresses feelings that can come with cancer treatment and ways to feel better emotionally. My goal is to donate these coloring books to hospitals that treat kids with cancer, starting with the one that we went to the most, CHOA and hopefully reaching additional hospitals such as BCH where we received treatment almost two months and St. Jude. The amount needed for local donation is $360.
Thank you to any and everyone willing to contribute to this cause of helping children and siblings during a time of suffering and uncertainty. My prayer is that the encouragement in this book will be a much needed bright spot in their fight. As children, and even parents, there is so little control over the outcome but my hope is that they will be okay on the inside. All donations will go toward printing and donating these coloring books that Cayden's cousin, Jade, helped bring to life with the amazing illustrations. Pictures will be shared of books when printed and ready to donate.
