Hey I am Dom ,

As some of you know, I host a weekly podcast in Ericeira, Portugal. The podcast is a space where local creatives, entrepreneurs, surfers and community voices come together to share their stories, ideas and journeys.

This project is important to me because it’s more than just a podcast. It’s about building connection in the local community, giving people a platform and creating something meaningful, with more depth.

I started the podcast two years ago with some on & off time. In 2025 I started to pick it up again with more consistency, talking with more inspiring people and I want to keep improving the quality and reach of these untold stories.

Currently we are recording the podcasts for free, live every saturday at the Hurley Surf Club Ericeira with a small equipment set up from my friend Lucas, his own equipment , two microphones, an interface and a private laptop.

Why do you want to raise 3300€ Dom?

Our first goal is to raise 1000€ to be able to upgrade and invest into:

Stage 1 - First Milestone: 1,000 €

This is the first step and the most essential: better sound quality for every story.

In total 1000 € 

Once that goal is achieved, we would like to invest into a camera, to launch the Podcast on Youtube.

Stage 2

After Stage 1, we’ll focus on bringing Dom’s Podcast to YouTube:

Total Stage 2 = €2,300

Combined total for Stage 1 + 2 = 3,300 € → this is our official GoFundMe goal

With one camera, we would already be able to shoot some Behind The Scenes Videos, some content for Social Media, but a second and even a third camera to go properly on YouTube would be needed, to have multiple angles.

Stage 3 – Dream Goal: 5,600 € - 7,900 € (including Stage 1&2)

If we surpass €3,300, we’ll invest in the full YouTube setup to make the podcast even more dynamic and professional:

Any extra support will be reinvested directly into the project to keep growing it and creating better content for the community and to get a second and even third camera with the time.
