<div>As some of you know, I <strong>host a weekly podcast</strong> in Ericeira, Portugal. The podcast is a space where local creatives, entrepreneurs, surfers and community voices come together to share their stories, ideas and journeys.

<div>This project is important to me because it’s more than just a podcast. It’s about building connection in the local community, giving people a platform and creating something meaningful, with more depth.
</div>

</div>
<div>I started the podcast two years ago with some on &amp; off time. In <strong>2025</strong> I started to pick it up again with more consistency, talking with more<strong> inspiring people</strong> and I want to<strong> keep improving the quality </strong>and reach of these untold stories.

<div>Currently we are recording the podcasts for free, live every saturday at the Hurley Surf Club Ericeira with a small equipment set up from my friend Lucas, his own equipment , two microphones, an interface and a private laptop.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Why do you want to raise 3300€ Dom? </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our first goal is to raise 1000€ to be able to upgrade and invest into:

<div><strong>Stage 1 - First Milestone: 1,000 €</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is the first step and the most essential: <strong>better sound quality </strong>for every story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Professional microphones </strong>
</div>

<li>2 x Shure MV7+ (each 300€)
</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>Audio Interface, cables, mic stands &amp; headphones</strong>

<li>Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (150€)

<li>2 x XLR cables (each 20€)
</li>
<li>2x Mic stands (45€ each)

<li>1x Pair of Headphones (120€)

<div>Once that goal is achieved, we would like to invest into a camera, to <strong>launch the Podcast on Youtube.</strong>

<div><strong>Stage 2</strong>
</div>

<div>After Stage 1, we’ll focus on bringing Dom’s Podcast to YouTube:

<li>1 x Camera for YouTube (Sony Alpha 6700 (1300€) + plus lense, battery etc. (1000€)
</li>
</ul>

</div>
<div>Total Stage 2 = €2,300
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Combined total for Stage 1 + 2 = 3,300 € → this is our official GoFundMe goal</strong>

<div>With one camera, we would already be able to shoot some Behind The Scenes Videos, some content for Social Media, <strong>but a second and even a third camera to go properly on YouTube would be needed</strong>, to have multiple angles.

<div><strong>Stage 3 – Dream Goal: 5,600 € - 7,900 € (including Stage 1&amp;2)</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>If we surpass <strong>€3,300,</strong> we’ll invest in the full YouTube setup to make the podcast even more dynamic and professional:

<li>2nd &amp; 3rd cameras (2300 €– 4600 € combined)
</li>
<li>Better lighting, tripods, accessories
</li>
<li>Additional post-production tools and software
</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>Any extra support</strong> will be reinvested directly into the project to keep growing it and creating better content for the community and to <strong>get a second and even third camera</strong> with the time.
