My name is Dominick. I'm a blue-collar guy who was doing well until I got laid off in 2024. While being out of work, I was in a motorcycle wreck where I had to avoid a dog and had to drop the bike at a high rate of speed. I missed the dog by a hair and I ate pavement doing about 60 mph. It took me out of work after being called back in, and I haven't been able to do construction since, which was all I ever really did.

We lost our house and possessions to the point my wife and I were living on the streets in Atlantic City. We have been to social services, churches, and welfare, but we don't fit the criteria for some reason and we are always denied help. A place called Family Promise has agreed to give us a security deposit and first month's rent on an apartment, which we really need, but we need money to hold us up a few weeks till we can find an apartment, move in, have food, and a motel room till we can move in and that will help us till my new job kicks in. We don't have family or friends to help us out, that's why we came to GoFundMe!
