Help Domingo, an Immigrant Worker Kidnapped by ICE

On August 5th, in Montgomery, NJ, a beloved father and long-time community member was abducted by ICE. His family is now asking for support.

Over 20 years ago, Domingo came to the United States from Mexico with a dream to build a better life for his children and give them the opportunities he never had. He worked tirelessly, starting out in a bakery in Princeton before moving into landscaping.

He is the proud father of four children: Lisette, Keysi, Briani, and Irving, who have always looked to him for love, guidance, and support. As the sole provider for the family, he often worked over 60 hours a week but still made sure Sundays were reserved for family meals together.

Domingo’s work ethic, humility, and determination have inspired everyone who knows him. He never hesitated to help relatives in need, whether it was welcoming siblings, nieces, and nephews into his home for weeks without asking for anything in return or buying diapers for a struggling family member. His door was always open and there was always room at his dinner table.

In Princeton, he became a familiar and respected face, even starting his own landscaping business. His children describe him as the foundation of their family and the one person they could always count on. What began as Sunday dinners eventually became Sunday brunches at his favorite Mexican restaurant, where he would laugh over cafecito surrounded by family and friends.

His detention, especially as he has been transferred to Louisiana, has left his family in deep pain and financial hardship.
