My name is Dolores and I’m an operating room nurse .I’m joining a medical mission for the first time and I’m very excited. It’s in Sept. of this year in Bohol,Philippines. Sept. 19-27.

We will be operating for 1 week on children with cleft lip and palate. It’s voulunteer work so it means I have to pay for all my expenses ( they used to pay for the volunteers but not anymore),Airfare ( international and domestic ), accommodation , food , uniforms, etc.

I also will take off from my regular job and I won’t get paid for that amount of time as well. ( no work no pay for travel nurses which is what I do right now). I’m asking for help pls. If you’re able to donate/sponsor part of my trip , that will help me a lot. As I’m helping others ( the children and their families) this means you’re also helping them. It’s domino effect for sure .
