Help Dolores and Reynaldo Replace Their SUV

I am reaching out to ask for your help and compassion for my parents, Dolores and Reynaldo, longtime residents of San Antonio who recently experienced a devastating loss.

In the early morning hours of October 5th, a driver in a white truck crashed into the back of my parents’ parked SUV in front of their home. The impact destroyed the entire rear portion of their vehicle and even took down part of their fence. The driver fled the scene, leaving behind extensive damage and heartbreak.

My parents are both elderly and disabled, and my father is a veteran living on a fixed income. Their SUV was not just a vehicle—it was their only means of transportation and essential to my dad’s well-being. It’s used to take him to life-saving dialysis treatments three times a week, along with regular medical appointments. The vehicle was also equipped with a special lift to transport his electric wheelchair, making it vital for his mobility and independence.

While they do have insurance, the coverage does not come close to replacing what they’ve lost. They simply do not have the financial means to purchase another reliable vehicle on their own.

Any donations would be used to purchase a newer vehicle for them.
