Our dear friend and colleague, Ayman Abu Rouk, is currently living in a tent in Gaza with his wife, elderly mother, sister, and five children after their home was destroyed in an Israeli airstrike. He depends on the donations we have raised as a community to help him survive.

WHO IS AYMAN?

For over a decade, Ayman has been a trusted partner and friend of Alison Avigayil Ramer, who supported his youth organization, Youth Without Borders, until it was tragically destroyed during the ongoing genocide.

Even after their center was bombed, Ayman used his life savings to launch a youth-run soup kitchen in Al Mawasi to feed displaced families during the war.

Ayman has dedicated his life to empowering young people in Gaza. Now, we have the chance to help him and his family survive.

WHY THIS FUNDRAISER MATTERS

A big reason Ayman’s family is still alive is because of a circle of people—like you—who have stepped up to provide food and water.

They urgently need our help to survive.

Flour is now $50 per kilo. Food, water, and medicine are nearly impossible to afford. Without our help, they go to bed hungry almost every night.

When the borders open, this fund will also help Ayman and his family evacuate to safety—and support them in rebuilding their lives outside Gaza.

THIS IS PERSONAL

Each of us involved in this fundraiser will continue to work for everyone in Gaza.

Alison works with several international and Palestinian humanitarian organizations, and we are all advocating for the health and safety of Palestinian families. But this particular ask is especially personal.

This is someone we know and love. Someone who has poured everything into caring for his community. And now, he needs us to care for him.
