Hi, my name is Reza Mohammed! I have been playing squash avidly for 5 years. While traveling all over the country for tournaments, I noticed that there wasn’t much socioeconomic diversity among players. Due to the cost of equipment, training sessions, and a membership to a club, the economic demographic of squash is extremely limited. To me, it was unsettling to see that the sport that I love was cost-prohibitive for many.

In 2020, I decided to take action. I created an initiative called Squash Stars, which gives children from the Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena free access to squash, with the equipment and training sessions sponsored by generous donors.

Squash Stars was up and running for 5 months before the pandemic shut everything down. Now that the squash facility and the Boys and Girls Club are open again, Squash Stars needs your help to continue to offer squash to these enthusiastic and eager children. Despite a 16-month break because of the pandemic, the Squash Stars keep asking when the program will restart.

For only $75, you can fund one day of squash camp for one child. There will be two camps this summer. This will give them a wonderful opportunity that they otherwise would not have had. And who knows, maybe the next squash star will be born!
