On January 23rd I got a devastating phone call that my 52 year old baby sister Dineen suffered a massive stroke. Dineen suddenly felt dizzy and confused while at work. She confided in her coworkers about the issue and they were thankfully mindful enough to call 911. This was a mild stroke. While Dineen was in the emergency room, she had a massive stroke. The blood clot in her artery traveled up to her brain which is what caused the massive stroke. All thanks to her team of doctors, they were able to assemble a team quick enough to remove the blood clot from her brain. Although 95 percent of it has been removed, my sister has suffered permanent brain damage. It’s nothing short of a miracle that my sister survived this. Although she survived, the parts of her that I know, and her kids know is hopefully not forever gone. Our entire world has been turned upside down and Dineen has a long road to recovery. We thank god for all the support from our family and friends, It means the world to us. My sister is definitely not alone on the road to recovery. As you can imagine this is gonna be a financial struggle. That being said, bills are piling up heavy on her shoulders and her families shoulders.
