My name is Dina Abu Zaid, and I am 13 years old. I live in northern Gaza. Or at least, I used to. Our house was destroyed, leaving my family and me without a home. We are seven people—my parents, my three younger siblings, and my grandmother.

I want to help them, but I am only 13. I should be going to school and playing with my friends, but instead, every day is a struggle just to survive. We need food, clean water, electricity, and shelter. These basic needs have become a luxury we no longer have access to.

Recently, our situation became even more unbearable. We lost a member of our family—a person we loved and cherished. Life in Gaza has become filled with loss and pain. I fear for my family’s safety every day.

All I want is to get my family out of Gaza and find a place where we can be safe again. But we need help. I want to raise $30,000 to help my family leave this place and start a new life somewhere safer. This money will help us find food, shelter, and the resources we need to survive.
