Hi, my name is Diana, and I am raising funds to help my mom and my little sister after a devastating fire in the apartment below her home in Tampa, Florida. The fire was caused by another tenant who, unfortunately, fled the scene. Thank God my mom and my little sister were not home at the time, but her apartment was severely damaged by smoke and ash. Authorities have declared the unit unsafe, and she is currently not allowed to return due to serious health risks.

At this moment, they are displaced and without access to most of their belongings, including their clothes, bed, blankets, and essential personal items. The smoke damage has affected nearly everything inside the apartment. The only thing they could recover was some important documents. Still, when entering the apartment to retrieve and assess it, my mom's health was compromised due to smoke inhalation, and she had to go to the ER to get assessed. While we wait for the building management and insurance companies to process everything — which can take time — she urgently needs help with:

Temporary housing/hotel, Food, Clothing, and personal necessities, Medications, Transportation, and a Security deposit for a new place to live.
