Help These Musical Prayers Soar - Diana is Making an Album!

Donation protected
Hi, there! Thank you for taking a moment to consider supporting this project of musical prayer.

My name is Diana Egizi, and I'm deeply humbled by this moment to reach out to my community and beyond in support of my debut album of musical prayers, Become a Blessing. My heart swells with gratitude and tenderness as I reflect on all it has taken for me to be ready to record these songs for the world.

I know and feel that there are so many places that need our time, attention, and financial support right now – I am so grateful for anything that flows my way in service to the mission of this album as a healing offering.

::: ABOUT THE MUSIC :::
This debut album is a collection of some of the first original songs I've ever created/received, which came through between 2018-2023.

Bringing these songs together, “Become A Blessing” is a devotional album of musical prayers born at the altar of soulful becoming in a threshold time. It is a collection of sonic offerings to awaken and inspire transformational love and ancestral remembrance, beckoning to the sacred wisdom in each one of us, calling us forth into courage, inspiring our breath to sing, love, laugh, cry, and contribute our part to the whole.

Each song carries an intention to offer sanctuary and a meaningful prayer field. These songs are here as a healing balm, a dreaming-into, an invitation to beauty — from my heart and soul to yours, for all beings and our beautiful world.

These songs sing for peace, for the waters, for right relationship, and for remembrance of our unique inner star and eternal nature. In recording and sharing them, I seek to feed a consciousness of self-empowerment, unconditional love, and sacred responsibility.

My vision and hope is that the songs on this album may nourish, enliven, and inspire listeners in mind, body, and spirit. May its messages and prayers ripple out through thought, word, and action for the benefit of all beings!

When you support this project, you are part of bringing these prayers to the world and inspiring many for years to come! Thank you!

If my music has ever touched you, inspired you, or been part of a moment or an event you hold dear, I would be honored if you’d consider supporting this project. Every dollar brings me closer to completing these songs and offering them to the world. Every dollar also benefits hard-working independent musicians and production artists who will help me make this a reality with their professional skills and gifts. Thank you so much!

One of the songs on this album, "Reciprocity", has already been completed, and was released on 5/12/25! Listen here

::: FUNDING THIS CAMPAIGN :::
In realizing I needed a lot of help to make this happen (and in service to fully serving these song prayers), I have hired trusted professionals to support me in production (including pre-production work), recording engineering, musical contributions, mixing and mastering.

Creating high-quality healing music is no small feat and can be very costly for independent artists!

I have already invested my own money into this process since 2023, paying for studio time, mastering, and my producer’s fee for my first single, “Reciprocity”, in addition to making production fee deposits on the remaining 6 songs to get them going. And now, in order to fully complete it, I need your help to raise at least $10,800.

Production Fees: $3400
Note: Production fees include close collaboration on pre-production, production, and music release support over many months, with producer Nolan Watt. (See more about collaborators below)
Recording Studio Costs: $2800
Professional Musicians: $2000
Includes: Percussion, Violin, Cello, Flute, Bass, Guitar, Mandolin, back-up vocalists, etc.
Mixing: $1800
Mastering: $450
GoFundMe Fees & CC Processing Fees (estimated): $350
Gratitude Initiative: 2% of Donations (after fees) to non-profits benefiting Mayan communities in Guatemala, an imperfect thank-you for the gifts I received in my healing path at Lago Atitlán, where I re-discovered my true voice.

Due to the nature of my life at this time, there is no other way for me to fund this project other than to ask for help. It is deeply humbling to ask this, at a time when the world is in so much need in so many places, and still I feel the importance of bringing these songs to the world as an offering of myself right now.

Anything you can give is very appreciated, and sharing this campaign is also appreciated. In the spirit of art and prayer as forms of activism, my hope is that this music can be supportive to you in your life and part of a sacred flow of blessings that continue to go where they are needed.

::ABOUT THE ARTISTS::

I feel so grateful to be working with kind, talented professionals who believe in this music. I want to introduce you to some key players:

Nolan Watt /Golden Temple Audio - Producer Extraordinaire
Nolan is my right-hand support on this project, bringing a highly experienced background in music and production, lending his skills and expertise to every step of this process. From helping me map scratch tracks, to playing with arrangement and instrumentation ideas, to holding space when I need encouragement, he is preparing me to go into the studio to be the most efficient, clear, and joyful in the process of recording. He is also helping me bring together all the pieces of musicians, when needed, and collaborating with me on mixing and mastering notes. He is my champion in this process. Our professional contract flows alongside a sacred commitment to these prayers.

Brandon Cooke - Recording Engineer & Percussionist
Brandon is a gifted percussionist and highly experienced recording engineer whose love for music and expert ears are going to help these songs soar! Having already played live on a few of my songs, we’ll be getting into the studio in the third week of June to lay down percussion before I go in to track more parts with him in the Soundwell Studio in Sebastopol, CA. I feel so blessed to work with him!

::: ABOUT ME & HOW I ARRIVED HERE :::
While I have always been a musical being, a dark time in my early 20s left me severed from my voice and the joy of singing. For the last 12 years I have been on a path of healing, which has included remembering the gift and power of my voice and my unique song channel.

At first, sharing my authentic voice and original songs felt so scary. Over time, I found a steadiness and a trust in myself and my expression, part of which I know to be because of the importance of the prayers and love that are carried within them, in addition to the encouragement of community circles.

On a personal level, this album is very much the result of many, many prayers for its actualization as a healing for myself and others – under moon and stars, at sacred fires, in ceremonies, crying, laughing, dreaming – even when I had only one song to sing and no knowing of how I would ever get here.

My journey so far has also been a one of reclaiming and remembering my sacred responsibilities and relationships to the living world, my ancestors, and my gifts. I have learned that my gifts are not just for me to enjoy, but to be given back – and given forward.

I lean deeply into what Robin Wall Kimmerer has shared: "In the teachings of my Potawatomi ancestors, responsibilities and gifts are understood as two sides of the same coin. The possession of a gift is coupled with a duty to use it for the benefit of all. A thrush is given the gift of song—and so has a responsibility to greet the day with music. Salmon have the gift of travel, so they accept the duty of carrying food upriver. So when we ask ourselves, what is our responsibility to the Earth, we are also asking, 'What is our gift?' "

This album is an attempt to live that prayer – offering my gifts as a sacred duty, with gratitude for my life on this planet.

After all this time, I still have not created an official musical artist webpage... coming soon!

You can find me on IG: @artemis_awake and also via one of my creative collaborations, @awakened.heart.music

Thank you for taking the time to read through all this. If you feel moved to support with any contribution amount, I thank you deeply.
