My name is Destin Gonzales. Eight months ago, my family and I were forced to leave a toxic household due to a violent outburst in the family. I was physically assaulted on the night of June 30th, 2025 after a verbal disagreement. We were left homeless for two nights. We barely had any of our belongings. When it came time to gather the rest of our stuff, we weren’t even given that opportunity. They declined our entry. All of our stuff remained on their property. Ultimately, we lived with my mother until we could get back on our feet.

We now live on our own where we have been raising our kids happily with no issues. We have slowly been replacing everything that has been basically stolen from us, which has cost us over time.

On March 12th, we were met with unfortunate news. We were served papers and sued by my in-laws for custody of our children. They are labeling us devil worshippers and unfit to raise our own kids. We have three weeks to respond to this lawsuit claim. In order to do that, we need a lawyer. We are seeking help to afford legal assistance and respond properly in court. I want nothing more than to protect my family at all costs and keep them safe. I will do whatever it takes to make that happen.
