Desmond and I want to thank you all so much for your texts, calls, and prayers. The Hurricane has passed and has caused many horrific damages throughout the island. We’re grateful to share that our family has no injuries and are okay. My mother-in-law’s home suffered some damage, but thankfully nothing too major. However, my sister-in-law, cousins, and many in their neighborhood were hit much harder.

Roofs are damaged from lifting during the hurricane, trees has fallen onto homes, power lines and the roads. And because of this power and cell services are still down across the area. We are able to talk to our family but very spotty.

Our hope is to have Desmond travel there as soon as we’re able to, so he can assist with helping his family and recovery efforts in his community.

We are wanting to help repair my mother in laws home, my sister’s roof, and help the Spicy grove community by providing essentials like water, food, clothing, and materials for rebuilding and cleanup.

We are starting this GoFundMe solely to Desmonds home, family and friends in the community.
