Thankfully, Derek, Jaxson, and the homeowner Kyle are safe. Derek has worked very hard over the past couple of years at a better life for him and his children, the youngest being 2.

My nephew Derek and his two-year-old son tragically lost everything in a house fire today and are now facing the difficult task of starting over. Derek and Jaxson lost all of their possessions. Jaxson loves his iPad and new car bed, which he will not understand are gone. Any contribution, big or small, will help.
