Help Derek and His mom

Hi, my name is Valeria and I am raising money for my friend and her baby Derek. They live en Ecuador and they do not have the funds for her baby’s treatment.
Derek, is 8 month-old baby, he was diagnosed with muscular hypotonia, with a confirmed diagnosis  of Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA type-1), a disease that has no cure, it can be treated with a drug, the most expensive drug in the world.  recently his cousin Ahinara passed away, she had the same disease, this is a genetic disease and his mom is very worried because he presents the same symptoms and the doctors gave him that diagnosis, his mom wants to help him but she has no resources and he wants to be healthy to be a happy child and be able to move his legs and his whole body but he needs a lot of strength and he doesnt  have it, help him get his  treatment and be happy with his family

Derek, es un bebé de 5 meses, le diagnosticaron hipotonía muscular, con un diagnóstico confirmado de atrofia muscular espinal (AME tipo 1), enfermedad que no tiene cura, se puede tratar con un fármaco, el fármaco más caro del mundo. Recientemente falleció su prima Ahinara, ella tenía la misma enfermedad, esta es una enfermedad genética y su mamá está muy preocupada porque él presenta los mismos síntomas y los médicos le dieron ese diagnóstico, su mamá quiere ayudarlo pero no tiene recursos y quiere estar sano para ser un niño feliz y poder mover sus piernas y todo su cuerpo pero necesita mucha fuerza y no la tiene, ayúdalo a recibir su tratamiento y ser feliz con su familia
