Hi All,

My Aunt Denise from Venice Florida is one of so many that have to start over after loosing her home and her belongings to Hurricane Milton/Helene.

She has been in contact with me throughout even as she got hit she was on a 2nd story office building (scary). As of last week her home was officially deemed unlivable. (Which she knew by looking at the damage, but had to go through the process). Still gut wrenching to hear. Her property has debris like a mattress, toilet, garbage…just a mess and very overwhelming as you can imagine. It all needs to be cleaned up, and her home demolished. All of this is on her to coordinate and pay. She has a little bit saved so she could “partially”retire in a few yrs. but will now need to use to start this process, which is no where near what she needs to get all cleared up with another tiny home placed on her lot. As of now her and her furbaby are able to stay at a friends house for a few months.

I would love to rally for her and see how much we can help. If you are able to donate that would be so appreciated! It’s so devastating to loose all your belongings and your home. If you are not able to please keep her and those that are dealing with, in your prayers. Long road ahead. Thank you so much
