Hi! My name is Danielle, and I’m creating this page for my stepmom, Denise Dietiker. She’s been such a joy to us, from the day I met her as a young child (and she gifted me a petite turquoise ring) to later marrying my dad and caring for him throughout his battle with Alzheimer’s, to loving my kids, Jason, and me as her own.

After my dad’s death, Denise went through multiple painful surgeries, battled cancer, and generally has had more than her fair share of challenges. She’s been a consistent and integral member of her community in the mountains of North Carolina for 30+ years, both as owner of a jewelry shop in Waynesville and as a member of New Covenant Church in Clyde.

When Hurricane Helene brought unexpected disaster to Western NC, Denise’s rental home was flooded entirely. She lost pretty much everything, from furniture to memories, but thankfully she survived.

She has miraculously found another home and has been given the opportunity to purchase it as her own. We’re so excited for her! She only needs a little help with the required down payment, and though she’d never ask in this way for herself, I know her community and many beyond desire to bless her.
