Hi, I am Dena Kibbe sister Gail I am helping Dena by handling and seeing she receives donations and medical needs. I am wishing to help her by making the rough road she has ahead a little easier. I am hoping you can help to. Dena is in Golisano Cancer Emergency Center in the step down dept in ICU. She has been there for a couple weeks, we hope she will be able to come home soon. Dena had surgery because of a very fast aggressive cancer, she was in stage 3 in less than 3 months. The cancer was on both sides of her neck and ear area, in the soft tissue, in the lymph nodes, and tongue. The doctors did a reconstruction from her left arm to rebuild her tongue they had to remove. They removed her teeth. She is going to need more arm graphs. Dena has a Trach and feeding tube. She is having therapy to relearn how to swallow, talk, eat. She is going to start with 6 + weeks going every day for radiation. Dena will not be able to work during this time. She is going to need help with paying for transportation, special food, etc. for her care. She also has her beloved dog she will need to care for. Plus, she will need help with bills, like electricity propane, use of phone so she can text, rent. Her bills are all paid for February, but more months will be coming on fast. I have found Dena does not have an understanding landlord. Dena is not behind on rent, but landlord wants to have her removed. They are more worried about not getting their rent in the upcoming months. Dena pays a $1000.00 for rent and she also pays all the utilities on her own.

I am looking for a hospital bed and a lift chair for Dena as she cannot lay down, etc. Other special needs are dog food, paper items, ensure, thickened by Hormel, tub baby food. There is also an Amazon site for donations, where there is a list of items or gift cards she can use.
