DELMARVA GIFT CARDS FIGHTING HUNGER is a charitable endeavor I have created to simultaneously help both families in need and restaurants on Delmarva. With donations, gift cards are purchased at area restaurants now struggling to continue due to the COVID pandemic. Those gift cards are then redeemed to feed families in need, referred to us by other families, or by social service agencies. In the first 14 days of launching this idea, more than 100 individuals were provided grocery items and meals, delivered to them by volunteers.
