Deisy is a Colombian immigrant mother living in the United States. She is a hardworking woman and an example of strength and perseverance. She came to this country with her three children, leaving behind a situation of psychological abuse from her former partner, determined to rebuild her life and give her kids a safer future.
Like many immigrants, she has worked in every way she can to provide for her family — serving others, taking any honest job available, and doing everything with dignity and courage.
A few days ago, while delivering packages as a way to earn income, her car was stolen in the Northgate area of Seattle. She tried everything to stop the thief — even holding onto the car door while screaming for help — but the man drove away, hitting other parked cars as he escaped.
The police took the report, but unfortunately her insurance does not cover theft, which means she has now lost her only means of transportation and her main source of income.
We are raising funds to help her replace her vehicle and cover the urgent expenses caused by this situation. Her car was not a luxury — it was her job, her way to support her children, and her only way to stay financially stable.
Every donation — big or small — makes a difference. You can also help by sharing this campaign so it reaches more people.
Deisy has been an example of resilience, kindness, and faith through very difficult times. Now we have the chance to be the support she needs.
