My name is Deeptii Seth. I never thought I had to set up a Go-Fundme page for my family in a million years.

Our life got upside down when my husband (Rishi) was diagnosed with MND in 2020.

Motor Neuron Disease (MND) is a neurodegenerative condition that progresses relentlessly. He fought against it bravely but unfortunately succumbed to it in June this year. Due to his illness, I had to cut down on my newly started work to be his carer. Rishi was 43 years old. He has left behind a wife and two young daughters aged 12 and 9.

He was the healthiest person in our family. His passing was a shock as it was too soon and sudden. Because of this, I am unable to go to work. I am slowly pulling myself together again.

But as they say, life goes on, and expenses don’t stop as long as you live. If the community could kindly provide some initial backing, it would be easier for me to support my family and slowly get back on my feet.
